Coaching is a supportive relationship with a trained coach to help you get ‘out of your rut' and improve your life. You discover how to bring more to your self-image, relationships, career and personal potential. You find your own answers, guided by someone with insight, wisdom and understanding.
A coach helps you find the best in yourself and put it to use every day. One of the biggest misconceptions is that coaching is about giving advice. Coaching asserts that all of the answers we seek are inside of ourselves so a good coach will not tell you what to do. The process is about empowering yourself to listen to your own inner voice.
Seeking outside help can be beneficial to your development or it can be an escape. Pushing the responsibility away from yourself, from your own truth and going with someone else's view is only a short-term solution.
If you're guilty of putting off the changes you know you want to make, take the first step to finding out how much better you can be. Coaching can help you put the missing pieces of the puzzle together. We work with you to achieve what you want by creating life strategies and giving you the psychological and emotional tools to make them work.
Neuro-Linguisti
NLP explores the relationships between how we think (neuro), how we communicate (linguistic) and our patterns of behaviour and emotion (programming).
By studying and learning from these relationships, people can effectively transform the way they traditionally think and act, adopting new, far more successful models of human excellence. This activity is called modelling and is a key feature that distinguishes NLP from psychology. Once you are able to identify the process of how an individual does something well, you can learn and utilise that same strategy to enhance your own performance.
In effect, NLP is a powerful change management tool that transforms the way people think and act to have the greatest impact both professionally and personally. That's why NLP is one of the most powerful skills used in business management, psychology, sales, sports coaching, therapy, entertainment and all forms of personal development.
Time Line Therapy® is an expansion of Neuro-Linguisti
The Time Line is a system for organising the memories of the mind. Memories are recorded and stored as we age and with time, they have more and more influence. The Time Line helps us differentiate between the past, present and future. Time Line Therapy® is a process that is largely unconscious in the same way you might remember your home phone number. The information is always there, but you may not always be conscious of it.
Time Line Therapy® is an innovative technique that is used to quickly and efficiently release negative emotions, limiting decisions and limiting beliefs.
Hypnosis is a social interaction in which one person responds to suggestions given by another person for imaginative experiences involving changes in perception, memory and the voluntary control of action. It promotes a sleep-like state in which a person becomes more aware and focused and is more open to suggestion.
Our minds work on two levels - the conscious and the unconscious. We make decisions, think and act with our conscious mind and the unconscious mind controls our habits. In a relaxed state, we can communicate directly with the unconscious mind. This is why it is so quick and easy to change habits of a lifetime this process.
Hypnosis is completely safe, you are aware and in control at every moment and can terminate the session at any time. You cannot get ‘stuck' and you cannot be made to do something against your will. It is a safe, relaxing and enjoyable experience!
Creative visualisation is a process similar to hypnosis in that it involves the use of visualisation and active imagination. When someone enters a state of relaxation, they are more receptive to positive suggestions and other therapeutic processes. These techniques are not something that can be 'done to you', but rather a state of mind that your coach or therapist can help you achieve.
The use of imagery and positive suggestions can also help to encourage people to experience themselves as they desire to be and this bring about change with less resistance. The state of relaxation allows the unconscious mind to accept positive suggestions which alter emotions and turn them into positive reinforcements.
Counselling is a way of addressing and resolving issues. It can involve identifying options and choosing between them, learning new skills to cope better with problems, gaining greater understanding of what is occurring or being supported while recovering from some significant life event.
Counselling is a collaborative process that involves the development of a unique, confidential helping relationship. The counsellor acts as a facilitator in helping clients to understand feelings, behaviours, relationships with others, situations, choices and decisions.
Thought Field Therapy is an innovative and remarkable therapy invented about 20 years ago by American psychologist, Roger Callahan. It is a process of harnessing the thought fields of the body's energy system to diagnose and treat psychological problems. Practitioners also use the process to assist with healing a variety of physical ailments.
Callahan discovered that by moving the body's energy in specific ways, distressing emotions could by eliminated. This is done through specialised finger "tapping" sequences at meridian points on the upper body and hands. The method can be applied to a range of issues such as weight loss, smoking cessation, removing bad habits and phobias and emotional trauma.
Psychosynthesis was first formulated in 1910 by the Italian psychiatrist, Roberto Assagioli. It is is simply a name for the process of personal growth - the natural tendency in each of us to harmonise our various aspects at ever higher levels of organisation. Psychosynthesis integrates the best available concepts and methods into a flexible framework, so as to assist and facilitate the natural human striving toward development and integration.
Human beings have a vast potential that generally goes largely unrecognised or unused and we each have within ourselves the power to access that potential. Psychosynthesis is often seen as an unfolding process where the person actually possesses an inner wisdom or knowledge of what is needed for that process at any given time. The guide's role is help identify these inner resources, support the process and be attentive to what is happening.
The Inner Child refers to your emotional body and the process of healing your Inner Child is particularly associated with Carl Jung who referred to it as the 'Divine Child'. Inner child work is a powerful tool which frees and releases the hidden agendas that perpetuate into lifelong unhappiness if left unresolved.
For the most part, our issues go back to childhood and the trauma that impacted on our emotional and physical bodies at that time. Inner Child work enables the negative conditioning and traumas to be gently and positively addressed. The Child within all of us is a delightful, spontaneous, mischievous, sparkling part of our personality. In contrast, the Child within can also throw tantrums and behave unreasonably or inappropriately
The Inner Child is secondary to the adult personality and can be controlled by the adult will. However, if there has been trauma, the Inner Child becomes the driving force and the spontaneous part of us becomes damaged and cannot find an outlet. This Child remains with us all of our lives because we are all children at heart, innocently searching for our meaning in life.
